Activities

Tuesday night gallery shoot.

Everybody is invited to attend the Tuesday night gallery shoot. Shooting starts at 7 PM.  The shoot is open to .22 cal rifles and .25 cal (or smaller) air rifles. Either with open sites or scoped.  Forty rounds are fired during this fun shoot in 4 five-minute relays of ten shots.  Questions: Charles C. Phelan, 327-2029 or e-mail indoor@sjwf.org.

Indoor Bullseye.

Indoor Bullseye is held every Thursday at 7:00pm. Contact Frank Blackmer at 598-5400.

Small Bore .22 Hunter Pistol

Small Bore .22 Hunter Pistol is held every Wednesday night on the indoor range. Contact Jack Reid at 632-8819.

Shotgun

The SJWF offers both Trap and Skeet shooting. Trap leagues are shot in the spring and the summer.

Range Schedule.

The range schedule will be available at the secretary’s desk at the membership meeting. Stop by and pick one up.

The additional range schdule events may be viewed on the Schedule page. The Calendar of Events page lists specific dates and times for all Club activities including shooting matches.

All activities must be cleared with the Executive Range Officer and written on the Range Calendar.

IPSC Practical Pistol

There is a division for everyone: Open, Limited, Limited 10, Production and Revolver. You DO NOT need to be a member of USPSA to shoot the local matches. A typical match will have 5 separate courses of fire and may require one or more reloads. Matches can require 100+ round of ammunition. Start tome for the match is 10am and match fees are $10 per shooter. For more information please contact Larry Johnson at 325-1303 or at ipsc@sjwf.org.

Tres Rios Bandidos.

There is a shoot in Cortez the 1st Saturday and Sunday of every month and another in Durango on the 2nd Sunday of every month.
